Downtown Denver held a special place in the hearts of Katie & Evan — but with so many favorite spots, it was hard to narrow down a location.
We decided to get the best of both worlds when we decided on location one: The Dairy Block…one of the first places the two of them would meet at the beginning of their relationship. And location two: a rooftop nestled right in the heart of downtown near the 16th street mall with views of some iconic Denver buildings.
In the middle of November, we were blessed with the most perfect weather. It had just snowed like crazy the week before, and was finally starting to melt — and the very next day would be the coldest, grayest, wet and rainy day. But somehow, this day would be sunny and high sixties. Perfect! We frolicked all around the Dairy Block, posing in all the cute little nooks and alleyways and several people even stopped to comment how cute they were. A quick outfit change and drive around the block, and we ended the session on the parking garage at 16th Street Mall just as everyone was leaving work for the day and freed up all the parking spaces for running around. The sun setting behind the buildings made for the best light.
Katie and Evan didn’t hold back when it came to showing off how much they love each other and the right playlist can certainly bring out their fun side. Downtown Denver was the most perfect setting for them and it made me all the more excited for their wedding later this year.
